Median weekly rent by area and dwelling type, quarter by quarter — the granular rental picture ABS capital-city figures can't give. Sourced directly from each state's rental-bond authority (by postcode, or by suburb where that's how the state reports). Covering New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria.
Medians of new lettings, not advice. Each figure is the median weekly rent for new tenancies commencing in that quarter — not stock-wide rent, not a valuation. Small samples are suppressed at the source and show as gaps, and the latest available quarter can differ by area and dwelling type (each row shows its own). Confirm against the source.
